WTC Tallinn AS operates as an electricity distribution network operator. In the service area between Jõe tn, Ahtri tn and Parda tn, in the service area approved by the decisions of the Competition Authority, having activity permits https://mtr.mkm.ee/juriidiline_isik/157931 for the provision of electricity network services and the sale of electricity. WTC Tallinn AS owns the cable routes in its service area in the field of energy.
- In connection with the established detailed planning, it is planned to introduce the most innovative solutions of the moment.
- In the future, the goal is to abandon the use of fossil non-renewable energy sources, including natural gas, and to apply for the LEED Platinum energy-efficient building certificate for the buildings built according to the detailed plan.
- New buildings are designed to be energy efficient, using ground heating, district heating, district cooling and solar panels.
Network service and network charges
WTC Tallinn AS provides electricity network service to consumers connected to its own electricity network. The service area of the WTC Tallinn AS electric network for operation with the provision of network services through the distribution network is determined by the decision of the Energy Market Inspection No. 48-TL/EITS dated 02.04.2004 and is located in the land area between Ahtri tn, Jõe tn and Parda tn in Tallinn. The service area includes the following properties/buildings: Jõe 3, Jõe 5, Jõe 7, Ahtri 8, Ahtri 12, Parda 3/5/7, Parda 4, Parda 6, Parda 9, Parda 10, Parda 12.
The network charges valid from 01.02.2023 have been approved by the Competition Board's decision No. 7-3/2022-168 of 27.10.2022 and have been disclosed in accordance with §74 subsection 1 of the Electricity Market Act.
