WTC Tallinn AS operates as an electricity distribution network operator. It has an activity license in the service area between Jõe tn, Ahtri tn and Parda tn, approved by the decisions of the Competition Authority. https://mtr.ttja.ee/juriidiline_isik/157931 for the provision of electricity network services through the distribution network. WTC Tallinn AS owns the electricity distribution network located in its service area.
- In connection with the established detailed planning, it is planned to introduce the most innovative solutions of the moment.
- In the future, the goal is to abandon the use of fossil non-renewable energy sources, including natural gas, and to apply for the LEED Platinum energy-efficient building certificate for the buildings built according to the detailed plan.
- New buildings are designed to be energy efficient, using ground heating, district heating, district cooling and solar panels.
Network service and network charges
WTC Tallinn AS provides electricity network services to consumers connected to its electricity network. The service area of WTC Tallinn AS electricity network for operating through the distribution network by providing network services has been determined by the Energy Market Inspectorate's decision No. 48-TL/EITS of 02.04.2004 and is located in Tallinn in the area between Ahtri tn, Jõe tn and Parda tn. The service area includes the following properties/buildings: Jõe tn 3, Jõe tn 5, Jõe tn 7, Ahtri tn 8, Ahtri tn 12, Parda tn 3/5/7, Parda tn 4, Parda tn 6, Parda tn 8, Parda tn 9, Parda tn 10, Parda tn 12.
The network charges valid from 01.02.2023 have been approved by the Competition Board's decision No. 7-3/2022-168 of 27.10.2022 and have been disclosed in accordance with §74 subsection 1 of the Electricity Market Act.
